Graduated from UNI with a degree in Accounting. UNI is consistently ranked as one of the best accounting schools in the country. After graduation and having passed the CPA exam in one sitting, joined the Houston office of Deloitte and worked for them for four years. Subsequent to Deloitte, career efforts have been in specialty construction and maintenance concerns. Encompass Services Corporation is the largest company served consisting of $4 billion in revenues. Assisted taking them public and then moved into a finance operations role within a business segment. Encompass grew from $200 million in revenues during tenure through an aggressive acquisition program in purchasing over 170 businesses over seven years. Exposure to this growth environment has resulted in a significant amount of purchase accounting and integration experience. Also assisted with the IPO of Stage Stores and, most recently, with RigNet in December 2010. Successfully assisted two workout/bankruptcy situations at Encompass and LDI. Both companies emerged from bankruptcy and thrive today.
