After gaining a traditional finance background from the University of Colorado Boulder, Matt dove into the Boulder/Denver startup scene to figure out how he could make an impact. This took him on a journey through working with startups, accelerators, and VC/angel groups. This diverse experience gave Matt a unique perspective on how to best assist startups and growing businesses through finance. Now, Matt's specialty lies in combining numbers, creativity, and knowledge to provide start-ups and small businesses with powerful financial and operational strategy. From financial models to KPIs, he is constantly looking for new ways to tailor traditional financial tools and practices to best fit the start-up community. Outside of work Matt is an avid cook, loves playing and watching basically every sport, and has had the pleasure to travel around the US and the world.
